Smart-Shopfront gives you full control over every angle and dimension of your shopfront. In addition to the wide range of supported panel types, you can assign head and base slopes, out-of-squares and elbows to your shopfronts, all with millimetre accuracy.

Wide range of features

Smart-Shopfront is equipped to deal with the whole gamut of frameless shopfront features. Smart-Shopfront's panel system handles nibs, notches and elbows, transoms above doors and fixed panels, full- or partial-height fins, pop-ins and pop-outs. Standard glass doors are supported, along with sliding doors and multiple entrances. Smart-Shopfront handles complex geometry effortlessly, calculating mitres and clearances as you add panels. Smart-Shopfront's powerful hardware engine handles numerous lock, latch, handle and closer options, and a broad range of head and base support methods. Cutouts for all fittings are handled seamlessly as part of the Smart-Shopfront design process.

Information Management

A lot of information can reside in your installers' and designers' minds — standard fitting combinations, doorway and panel styles, standard designs and more. You are better off having a central repository for all this information, where everyone can get to it. Smart-Shopfront offers such a repository — its robust database stores a shopfront library, preferred fittings and fitting combinations, customised styles and more, taking the load off your staff.

Versatile Hardware model

Shopfront hardware can be complicated, with different rules for closers working with patches and rails, keepers for locks, left- and right-oriented patches and more. Designing a shopfront can seem to involve more referencing of hardware manuals than actual design. By incorporating your rules into its hardware database, Smart-Shopfront automatically takes care of these issues. This lets you do your job without getting bogged down in manuals, confident that Smart-Shopfront will handle hardware rules consistently and accurately. As with all Smart-Builder software, Smart-Shopfront is 100% hardware independent, and can be adapted to your individual needs.
